Hindustan Crane Duty Motors – 2HC2 are specially designed for frequent starts, stops and reversing operations required in cranes and lifts of all types. They can also be used for material handling, weirs and sluices, auxiliary motors in rolling mills and other applications where intermittent drives are required.
The motors are available in frame sizes from 71 to 315 LX and power ratings from 0.18 to 200.0 kW. They are offered with 4, 6 and 8 pole configurations and B3, B5, B14 and combination mounting arrangements.
The supplied specifications include 415V ±10% voltage, 50Hz ±5% frequency and IP55 protection, with TEFC enclosure and Class F insulation with temperature rise limited to Class B.
The motor construction includes high-quality castings, low-loss high-permeability steel stampings and super-enameled dual-coat copper windings. VPI, PTC thermistors, space heaters and integral electromagnetic DC fail-safe brakes can be provided on request.
